In this presentation, we define ageism and how it shows up in ourselves, in others, in institutions and in policy. We talk about the negative impacts of ageism on our health, wellbeing, lifespan and economic security. And we consider research-based strategies for reducing ageism, including practical things that any individual, organization or community can do.
